I am pleased to announce that I have been awarded first place in the Digitally Enhanced section of the inaugural Xto Nude Image Awards for a portfolio of five images from my 2000/01 'symbolist' nude series.The prize is an invitation to exhibit in the Xto Winners group show at the Farmani Gallery in DUMBO, NYC in early July and an opportunity to win the $2000 Grand Prize which will be awarded to one of the exhibiting artists at the reception on the opening night, July 9.
Winners were chosen from among more than 1,000 pieces of work submitted from 53 countries.
Xto Nude Image Awards offers photographers and illustrators from around the world the opportunity to submit their work and be judged by respected editors, publishers, curators, gallery owners, art collectors, consultants, creative directors and art directors. Xto’s mission is to acknowledge and promote visual artists whose work is primarily inspired by the human form.
