Please help me to write a new Artist's Statement

I have just finished attending the first "smArtist telesummit" organised by the wonderful Ariane Goodwin who has written a book called "Writing The Artist Statement: Revealing The True Spirit Of Your Work" details of which can be found at Ariane's website here
During one of her two telesummit presentations Aletta de Wal, who runs artistcareertraining.com', encouraged artists to record the comments of viewers of their work which might be utilised or informative for the process of writing a new statement.
So I am asking those moved enough to add a comment or two about my work to do so here. I am always interested to hear the comments of viewers as they can often reveal aspects of a piece that I may have missed myself.
My current offering can be found here
I promise that I am going to try, with a little help from my friends, to make the new one a little more informative.

I think listening to what other people say is a great idea. You always learn about your art when you do this. Also, I truly believe that art doesn't become 'alive' without the viewer.

On the other hand, it serves you well to play offense. Rather than waiting for them, ask yourself: What do you WANT them to say? And how can you word it in your statement to achieve that result?

Good luck, Dominic!
